Bonjour, Paris!

We made it to Paris yesterday! And everything about this beautiful city is unbelievable, so you can say that we're off to a great start.

We took the train from Basel to Paris, and made it in by 1:30, and got to our apartment by 2:25. Our apartment is really cool, and it already feels like home! It's also located in a passageway, with some cute vintage shops and good-looking restaurants all over the place.

After settling in, we grabbed a little snack and beer from a American/British pub just downstairs from the apartment. Then we walked over to meet up with my parents at the apartment that they are staying at, where we hung out and talked about our favorite show, The Walking Dead. =)

HI!

After catching up and telling stories of our travels, we all decided to walk around the Luxembourg Garden. The garden was beautiful! There were lots of people just hanging out or running. It's definitely a great place to relax and have a little escape from the busy city.

After the garden, we had some dinner and made plans for what we'll do today. By 11, Adam and I walked back home from my parents' apartment. Luckily, the view couldn't be beat!

We're super excited to finally be in Paris and looking forward to what this month will bring!
